I am a Oceanography and PhD student in Biological Oceanography. I work with ecology, biogeography and taxonomy of marine phytoplankton. My work on taxonomy integrates molecular, ecological and morphological information for delimitation of taxa. In my thesis, I am comparing the structure of plankton community between the tropical and subtropical environmental to understand the interaction between phytoplankton and associated organisms, as parasites and endosymbionts by using amplicon sequencing.
